It is a privately held, full-service firm specializing in single and multi-family construction and remodeling in the esteemed Hill Country area of Texas, with waterfront and golf course developments as our primary focus. Our broad array of professional services includes the preparation of construction budgets, architectural design coordination, purchasing, management of sub-contractors, project supervision through completion and an emphasis on client responsiveness.

Canyon Creek Homes was founded by Matt Hand to focus on specialization in golf course and water front communities - to create custom homes that are uniquely Texas.

A graduate of Stephen F. Austin State University in 1990 with a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration (emphasis in Business Management), graduated with Cum Laude honors, Alpha Chi National College Honor Scholorship Society in 1991 and Sigma Iota Epsilon Honorary Management Fraternity. Matt Hand has built over 300 homes and managed nearly 100 single and multi family rehabilitations ranging from $150,000 to $2 million. Matt also owned and operated MH Builders, Inc. serving the Horseshoe Bay area since 1996.

Prior to establishing MH Builders and Canyon Creek Homes, Matt worked at Consolidated Concepts, Inc. in Houston, Texas serving as Vice President of Operations of New Construction and Rehabilitation of single and multifamily project. Matt has earned awards such as McGuyer Holdings, Inc. “Outstanding Production: and “Fastest Completed Home” and most recent “Best Overall Craftsmanship” and “Best Landscape” at the Flintrock Falls Showcase of Home awards. Matts skills and industry knowledge are what make our quality control outstanding and our homes.

Nora Killinger, Project Coordinator & Marketing Director As Project Coordinator, Nora is involved with each new construction from submitting plans to Architectural Board for approvals, acquiring building permits, utility hookups, meeting with the subcontractors and getting bids, working with the homeowners on their selections, purchasing of material, assist field personnel, coordinate with vendors on homeowners selections and scheduling of material deliveries. As Marketing Director, Nora is responsible for the marketing materials, advertisements, mail outs, taking digital photos of homes under construction for website, follow up with web site inquiries and updates. Other responsibilities include warranty and customer service relations to assure total customer satisfaction.

Nora has been with Canyon Creek Homes, Inc. since June 2001. Prior to working at Canyon Creek Homes, Inc., Nora worked for a custom home builder for two years in the Lakeway area.
